Crossing State Lines and Keeping it Legal
Date: October 29, 2008 Instructors: Melanie McLane & Roseann Farrow Interested in learning more about how New York and Pennsylvania REALTORS® conduct business? Join us as we “test drive” a brand new course! The ride may be a bit bumpy but you’re sure to learn something new about the reciprocal states’ business practices and help the instructors, too! Currently, New York is one of 11 states that share reciprocity with Pennsylvania. (Reciprocity is granted to those states that extend similar reciprocal privileges to Pennsylvania licensees.) If you’re thinking of practicing in PA this course is a must! Whether licensed in New York or Pennsylvania (or both!) this course will provide a quick, in-depth overview of the laws, regulations and practices of NY and PA. You’ll learn the necessary “how-tos” for listing and selling real estate in both states. Facilitated by two experts in their own states, you’ll gain an understanding of what practices are the same, similar or completely different. |
