The Association has a rich tradition of member dedication and volunteerism to improve and promote the quality of life for all in our community. We frequently work in cooperation with other service organizations to broaden the scope of these efforts.

NAR and HUD have entered into a voluntary partnership, the Fair Housing Partnership Agreement, to take a proactive approach to fair housing issues, concerns, and solutions. Our orientation program includes detailed instruction on the latest laws and proper conduct on the part of a licensee. We print articles and notices in various local publications informing the public of our support for equal opportunity in housing and advertising.

Members of the Greater Binghamton Association of REALTORS®, Inc. subscribe to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®, which promotes the highest standards of conduct in the real estate profession. The Grievance and Professional Standards committees oversee enforcement of the Code of Ethics and provide member arbitration services and a forum for prompt resolution of disputes.
